Last week was our 3rd market day, and oh was a glorious day it was. Sun shining, it was warm – truly felt like good healthy spring. Hope it was the same temperature out on the farm to get things growing. Here are wild leeks, aka ramps, chives, king oyster mushrooms and of course asparagus. Nothing says the start of market season than these!

HOW TO ENTER: we like to keep paperless at the market, so….on your own piece of paper (small aprx 2″x3″) write your name & email address CLEARLY. Then bring it to the organizers tent, put your good-luck magic fold on that baby up and put it the ‘entry jar’. Draw is on May 14th after market. Winners will be notified and must confirm by Wednesday May 15th by 12noon. By entering the contest, you agree to these easy peasy terms 😉 Prize must be accepted as presented. No purchase necessary.

Lucky 13! The permits are in hand, signage is up, we got a bunch of great new volunteers and our vendors are excited for the season to get started. We look forward to seeing our returning and new patrons. Spring is bringing some rain, the new norm. It creates some challenges for the farmers, but sure as ‘rain’ the tables will start to fill up as the weeks roll on. As usual, our talented prepared food artisans are stepping up their game (fresh pasta is back!)
