“Our Mandate is to support and increase access to fresh, local, sustainably grown and organically grown agriculture. To educate the community in the food they eat, the source from which it comes and how it is grown and/or prepared. We like slow food, not fast food and eating at hearth and home with your loved ones”.
The market is managed and operated by dedicated seasonal volunteer community members.

The stalls can be accessed from the sides and the vendors will see you to assist with your purchase. Mobility aid users that arrive by car and have an accessibility pass displayed clearly on the dash, there’s usually a few spaces available to park after 3pm on Dundas West, EAST of Crawford Street where the pylons are.
PETS to be kept on a short leash and under control. Please take them for walkies prior to relieve themselves to avoid it happening in market area and/or on vendors stalls. Thank you!
BICYCLES/SCOOTERS/E-BIKES are to be walked at all times though the market area – there can be many pedestrians, children and pets dashing about! Please be considerate. You can always go way around too! As a courtesy do not lean them on the vendors’ stall or have them block access to stalls. We strongly recommend cyclists to lie them down or free-stand lock them on the nearby grass or against a tree to do your market shopping free-handed!
REFRAIN FROM SMOKING tobacco, cannabis and/or vaping in the market area as a courtesy and general public health and being in close proximity of food.
THERE IS NO CUSTOMER PARKING The areas on Shaw and Dundas with orange pylons is strictly reserved for our vendors by a City permit. Please don’t park there – without vendor parking, a farmers’ market we cannot have.
RE-USEABLE BAGS We encourage all to bring your own. If you forget your bag check our free Leave/Take a Bag at the info tent. Do considering buying some of our very affordable ($5 ea.) unbleached organic cotton produce bags – super handy for many other things too.
Your cooperation with all of the above is greatly appreciated by all that come. We hope you enjoy our farmers’ market. Thank you.
