Trinity Bellwoods Farmers’ Market is independently run by community volunteers. It is designed as a small neighbourhood market that brings local agriculture and artisan foods to the community. You don’t always get what you want, but you always get what you need at TBFM!
There is a vendor capacity at our location, there is very little wiggle room.
We like slow food, not fast and are respectful of our footprint in the park.
READ the INFORMATION on this page it’s important and you will do better on the pop-quiz.
Vendor Participation at Trinity is by invitation, season to season. All participating vendors have gone through the application process and sign a participation agreement – vendors cannot participate without going through this vetting process. Prior to each season market management will extend an invitation to returning vendors and if space availability permits i.e. decline of an invitation, potential new vendors. There is no subletting or sharing of stalls.
NOT CONSIDERED: product that use synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, contain GMO’s, that are re-sellers/peddlers, or purchase at the Food Terminal (which is a hub for ON produce, but TBFM is about buying directly from the farmer/producer), import goods, sell craft and skincare products, nutritional supplements, service providers or product representatives and pet food. No free sample giveaways of any kind or flyers either handed out or left on tables.
Equity in farmers’ markets’ matter. Please reach out via the inquiry form and let us know who you are. If we are unable to accommodate (re:capacity) we happy to have a conversation to help with navigating/connecting you to other farmers’ markets that support equity and representation to help find a good fit – every market runs differently. We welcome making new connections that go towards build healthy relationships and it’s great to know who’s out there!
Thank you for your patience and respect.
Also, check out Farmers Markets Ontario for province wide list of farmers’ market that are members of FMO. Additionally there’s the Greenbelt Market network and just doing research online for markets that are outside these realms.
